Hi George.
I saw this movie 3 monts ago, and it was a real experience.
first of all, the production in this movie was good in relation with the low budget and beutiful realization and photography; also the wonderful performance of the actresses.
About the topic, the water in the movie have many kinds of means metaphoric and simbolic, in some times is pure, in other wash sins, or hope, may be joyful. what cruel life, see that widows hopeless, waiting for dead the books say so the widows are living glory of their dead housband, I think than for this reason the family is obligated to support her; but no way, she becomes an economic charge and leave to her luky.
If we are fruit of love, no body, nothing must have to avoid us to love.
