In 1998, I participated in a suplement called "acento x", which appeared in UNOMÁSUNO.The following article was my first contribution.However, I think it is still meaningful to share it with of all you now. Maybe, I should have posted it at the very beginning of this blog.
Las palabras se las lleva el viento, solemos decir para alucir a lo efímero de la palabra pronunciada. Como contrapartida aseguramos que papelito habla. Como siempre, estas aseveraciones, que tienen su origen en la sabiduría popular, no dejan de tener razón en su inexorable realismo. También sabemos, por experiencia, que casi toda la realidad que nos rodea es ambivalente, es decir, puede en un momento dado, hacernos sufrir su aspecto negativo, por más que le veamos con optimismo. Dicho de otro modo casi nada es absolutamente negativo ni absolutamente positivo. No estamos en el cielo donde todo es perfección.
Uno de estos casos lo tenemos en la palabra escrita, de la cual alguien podría decir que es palabra muerta, si no cae en la cuenta de que tiene en ella un testimonio vivo y permanente que habla cada vez que la lee para preguntarle. Podríamos decir que el texto escrito se convierte en un interlocutor permanente al que puedo acudir para obtener mayor información cada vez que la necesito.
Ésto es tan cierto que, al hacerse prácticamente autónomo, habla por si mismo y hasta llegar a decir más de lo que su autor quiso decir. Vale la pena reflexionar en esto que escribimos o leemos. Es alentador saber que lo que aparezca aquí en este medio de comunicación no se lo llevará el viento.
Definitely I agreed with you, it is said that there are three ways to transcend this life, which are: planting a tree, having a child and writing a book. And I think the most difficult is writing a book, because it implies that we have to develop an interesting topic, which forces us to read and get all the necessary information to make a new contribution. Also, writing let us to make a mental process to organize and reflect on a subject, so that, we can express our ideas clearly and accurately.
Blogs like this gives us an opportunity to express our ideas and opinions, although in many cases we do not have the proper structure to write, we can learn something from others.

Well, I think that writting is the best way to share our ideas about something, or write our feelings. An example, I have heard that paper is your best friend, because you can write everything that you want, everything! And the paper never will not say you if you are right or if you are wrong, so, I think too, that is a way to relieve you.
And a personal comment, I love write because is where I can express all I fell without something their opinion.
PS: Against Paty, I love the color of your blog, for me, this is better than the other, the other for me, was depressive.

Well in my opinion you are right and I agree that writting is one of the best form to express our feelings and the way we think.
And this is how we know about our past beacuse a lot of people use this instrument to express what they were thinking or what was happening in that time.
So is important to write and read becasue we extend our vocabulary and to know more about other things.

I agree with you. But I think that speak is easier than write, and by this reason a lot of people prefer to speak. For example, when you write you have to be careful with the orthography and punctuation, because if you do not pay attention in that your messages can have different meanings.
When I write something, the most of the times I have to reread it, because sometimes I am very passionate and I am not careful with punctuation.
Write is very important, there is an advertising of Johnny Walker that says "You can achieve immortality, you just have to do something great" (Well I do not remember if these are the right words, but this is the message) and I think that something great can be write, because our words can be useful for someone else.

Value of written word.
As mentioned in the article, words are very important and is a great deal for all of us to now when to speak with the correct words. Unfortunately, nowadays we don’t pay too much attention to what it is said, we better care about images, and therefore, spoken language is relegated to a secondary place.
It would be good for mankind if people paid more respect to what is said. To respect a compromise or an engagement agreed only by words. But now, moral values have changed, and only few people fulfill compromises they’ve done only by word. That is the reason why it turns of primary importance to subscribe signed documents. If we reached a level of really trusting people, we didn’t need to do so many formal transactions. We would have the habit to accomplish everything we said we would and we would live with the certainty that the confidence we have given to somebody will not be disappointed.

Well, I think that unfortunately nowadays, it’s necessary and important to make every kind of deals or agreements and then sign the documents like contracts or papers, because some people don’t take care about the fulfillment of the thinks they say.
It’s sad but it’s true that many people make a lot of promises and don’t keep it, or make deals and engagements and never fulfilled because they don’t take care about the importance of the special meaning of the words that they pronouns to the people that listen it and as a result people are disappointed with this actions and don’t trust in the words and we only believe that papelito habla y que las palabras se las lleva el viento.
It doesn’t matter whatever we say, we need and should be responsible of the fulfillment of it.
Also when we write, we should to take care about many aspects like punctuation, commas etc. For example if you don’t care about commas, people who read your article or book could be interpreting a different meaning and it could be a disaster.
Finally I think it’s marvelous that these articles can be published and we can read them whenever we want “y no se los llevará el viento”.

It si true, the words lives by the wind but the word in writing never; this kind of comunication is the best invention of the human kind.
The knowledge of the humaniti was registered in graphics, symbols, draws, and letters. Imagine that first of all an idea was born, then the sound and in the end the writting.
The world change by the word in writting, Borges sayed " De todas las herramientas inventadas por el hombre la mas maravillosa es el libro, por que las demás son extenciòn de su cuerpo, pero el libro es extensiòn de su mente" very wise, isn't it?.
I prefer to read a god book than see a foot ball game, because I can invite to the autor to my lundge and talk about their mind, feelings, experience and way to live.
In Mexico it is important to practice the writting of esays in the schools, this is the only way to develop the mind in order to express ideas, and invite to investigate new worlds, new knowledge; of course the practice of the reading goes together.
This country becomes different if the reading and the writting becomes in common practice.
In the actuality the word must to be with document because have most value and most segurity for both parts, he that write and he that read. The word to talk not exist. I remember my grandfather told that the old people the business to done "the word" they pawn el mustache, all was the word and very respectful. Also is true that the word have one side positive or one side negative, one good word to make change a person however one bad word to make enemys (adversarys). As the saying goes "Wathch your mouth" That wy is best "keep quiet" I prefer to word for write and you?

I think the articule is wonderful, because it´s really interesting, but the explanation, the words and ideas. The people change book and articules for the foot ball game. Because They ´re prefer the play than book. In the world is very necesary develop ideas for the people.

I think that people in this time don´t think about a welfare, right now the life is difficult, then the people think in an other thing, and that carries to that move away him themselves of the books.
I think that is best read a book, I feel that relaxes us and removes us of our urgencies and has reflections that itself is not carried them the wind.
I`m agree whit yhe article because have more interesting reflexions and say that the people create words or frases because is for their experiences and they when read a book a magazine or something like that they can learn more
I agree whit you because we have to have resprosabilities.We never back out after we have promised to do something. However, I ´am a responsable woman because I have a son, a husband and I know when the humans grow up, the mind change. I believe that we must have a good education.
Why we write for?
The human language has evolved in written language, we have the necesity of be hear by the others. We are capable to express the most beatiful thoughts and the horriblest. To write a sign of peace or a war declaration, our own history as humans, so it´s a wonderful tool that help us to express ourselves and to be considered by the rest.
So please don´t stop writting whatever you are writting...
A little chapter of Cortazar´s book Rayuela that I want to share about the writter´s opinion about writting:
¿Porqué escribo esto? No tengo ideas claras, ni siquiera tengo ideas. Hay jirones, impulsos, bloques, y todo busca una forma, entonces entra en juego el ritmo y yo escribo dentro de este ritmo, escribo por él, movido por el y no por eso que llaman el pensamiento y que hace la prosa, literatura u otra. Hay primero una situación confusa, que sólo puede definirse en la palabra; de esa penumbra parto, y si lo que quiero decir (si lo que quiere decirse) tiene suficiente fuerza, inmediatamente se inicia el swing, un balanceado rítmico que me sacara superficie, la ilumina todo, conjuga esta materia confusa y el que la padece en una tercera instancia clara y como fatal: la frase, el párrafo, la página, el capítulo,el libro. I think that is more difficult "to peak" that we feel, than we write it.
To speak face to face, we need often value, since in this moment, we will receive response to what we express, and probably could manage to be inconvinient or troublesome, at the moment. The best way to express is " the written word ",
In my opinion " the written word " leaves fingerprint in who reads it, in a positive or negative way.
I agree with this text because it mentions that if something is not in writing, it will never have a certain value that you can relate to, like a formal document with a signature on it.
Words are take by the wind, word will always have a special meaning when you are able to express the exact thought and put it into paper to transmit knowledge.
If you write something with a special meaning, to someone, it will most probable stick with that person for the rest of her or his life.
